Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before downloading or using PodStudio.

Local Licensing
Your license key belongs to you. It requires online activation and is subject to active machine limits.
100% Content Ownership
You own all podcasts, audio assets, script data, and visual components you create in PodStudio.
Use Restrictions
No cracking, reverse-engineering, or redistributing license keys. Respect intellectual property.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PodStudio (referred to as the "Software" or "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grant & Key Usage

PodStudio grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software.

  • Free Edition: May be used for personal or commercial projects with script length limits as configured in the application.
  • Pro License: Unlocks unlimited usage and is linked to the license key issued upon purchase. A Pro key is intended for use by a single user and may be activated on up to the allowed number of personal machines simultaneously.
  • Restrictions: You may not share, rent, sub-license, distribute, or publish your license key. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the software binaries is strictly prohibited.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership and copyright of any text, voice files, audio recordings, video packages, or script configurations created or imported in PodStudio. PodStudio does not claim any ownership rights over your content.

4. Third-Party Services & API Plugins

PodStudio permits connection to third-party services (such as OpenAI, ElevenLabs, or other custom TTS API engines) via configuration or plugins.

Your use of these external APIs is subject to those third parties' terms of service and billing structures. PodStudio is not liable for service disruptions, API fee adjustments, or data handling by third-party providers.

5. Ethical Voice Synthesis & TTS Policy

We are committed to ethical AI practices. PodStudio only integrates with legally compliant Text-to-Speech (TTS) providers and does not support, bundle, or facilitate unauthorized or illegal voice cloning.

You are strictly prohibited from using the Software or its plugin system to clone, synthesize, or distribute the voice of any individual without their explicit legal consent or appropriate licensing rights. You agree to use all voice synthesis features and third-party APIs solely in compliance with applicable laws, privacy rights, and intellectual property regulations.

6. Limitation of Liability & Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. In no event shall PodStudio or its creators be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the Software.

7. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with an updated modification date. Your continued use of the Software after updates constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
