Step-by-Step Guide: How to Create a Video Podcast from Script Locally

Video podcasts (or "vodcasts") get up to 3x more engagement than audio-only streams on modern discovery engines like YouTube and TikTok. However, editing and styling video clips manually can take hours.

In this guide, we show you how to generate a fully styled, subbed, and animated video podcast (MP4) from a plain text script, running **entirely locally on your device** using PodStudio.

Step 1: Write or Import Your Dialogue Script

First, open the PodStudio desktop application. You will see a script editor panel. You can write your dialogue natively or upload an existing script structure.
